Kayak, strip-built, Guilemot S design, 16.1 ft. Spanish Cedar and Paulownia

16.1" kayak, hand crafted, strip built using select Spanish cedar, and Paulownia, with highlights of Western red cedar, Eastern cedar, and Alaskan cedar. Guilemot S model designed by Nick Schade. Custom hand shaped cedar and glassed wood seat and installed custom rudder system. Bottom glassing is staggered up to 12 oz on outside, 4 oz on outside top deck, and 4 oz throughout interior. Sized for paddlers up to about 175lbs. Finished with 6 coats of semi gloss marine grade varnish. (semi-gloss eliminates much of the harsh glare from the top deck while paddling your cares away into the sunset.)
